Jared Henderson

Bassist. Composer. Educator.


Bassist Jared Henderson is from the small mountain town of Sisters, Oregon. He began playing bass at a young age, studying primarily with his father and performing with local musicians throughout the Pacific Northwest.

In 2009 Jared moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, graduating with both his Bachelor's (2013)  and Master’s Degree (2017).

Jared has performed with artists including Danilo Perez, Dave Liebman, Terri Lyne Carrington, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Adam Cruz, Chris Cheek, Dayna Stephens, Rich Perry, Lage Lund, Jason Palmer, Ingrid Jensen, Julian Lage, Christian Li, and Mike Bono.

Currently, Jared lives in NYC where he is active as a performer and educator and also working on his new project "Freedom of the Wilderness".
